The problem
Coding agents are fast, but left alone they skip planning, review and tests. Teams end up babysitting each run instead of shipping.
One job, five stages
Baton (the jev CLI plus a web dashboard) treats every idea as a job that moves through plan, validate, code, test and integrate. Each stage is dispatched to the provider best suited to it, with cost-aware routing and a quality gate before anything merges.
What it does
- Autonomy modes from fully supervised to hands-off
- Idea queue, scheduler, Kanban board and a fleet view across runs
- Per-role MCP tools and skills, and learning profiles that improve routing over time
- Browser preview with human takeover
Open source
Work arrives as reviewed, tested pull requests instead of raw diffs. The orchestrator is public on GitHub.
